Where’s the best beach to find sea glass in the United States?
I’ve spent a lot of time on beaches over the years searching for sea glass without much success. Does anyone know a beach in the US which is known for it’s sea glass? Is there a good season to find it?
I checked out Glass Beach in Fort Bragg, CA; but their website states that collecting glass on the beach is not allowed.
i went to crystal cove and there are a lot of small rocke there on the beach so sea glass normally comes up with the rocks i got at least 5 pounds of it in a couple of days but we went back to the cove on vacation and i only found lik 20 mediocre pieces so its not always there crystal cov is in sousthern cal basically any beach with pebbles must have some kind of seaglass also just so u no brown is the least common then green glass then clear then light blue then the all powerful dark blue seaglass i dont think that there is a good season but for finding it but the moon controls the tide and i THINK that full moon is better so u could look up when full moon is in so cal and probably go then also u could find the tide iof the beach u search high tide is at niight so the morning after la good tide is probably the best time of the day to search
