Painting with Airbrush?
Hello, I just bought a single action Paasche airbrush. I love doing plastic scale model cars. Before i get started i am wondering what you would recommend for paint? Acrylic? Enamel? What does everyone use for there plastic scale models?
I googled this for you, and found that it truly seems to be an artist preference, although the preference for airbrushing seems to be acrylics because of the easy clean-up. It seems that hobbyists use enamels and a good brush when painting small parts.
To sum up the information I found: If you’re brushing on, use enamels and a good brush. If you’re airbrushing, use Tamiyah acrylics.
