I want to have a dual-monitor display, so that i can double my workspace/viewing space. What are my options?
I’ve heard that I need a new video card. However, I’ve also seen someone who seemed to have merrily used an adapter that plugged into the slot and then split into two for the two monitors. I’m wondering which is cheaper, and which is better. Whatever the case be, where can I find these products online?
Please note that I do not want an adapter that merrily puts the same image on two screens.
well you could go with dual video cards for best performance, there are also video cards that have two ports so you can run two monitors. i would go with an nvidia card or an ati card as they are about the best on the market. it would be cheaper to use a splitter since buying a new or 2 video cards would be expensive.
