An inkjet printer printing to a PVC plastic card?
I have a Canon all-in-one MP530 printer. I need to print in a blank white PVC, a plastic card (like a photo card, ID card, credit card type / size, etc). I need to know if a color inkjet printing on plastic, as it is a different material which I printed previously. That is, you will remove as soon as printed, have to sit and dry for a few days, dry for a few minutes, do not go at all, etc, etc? Can anyone help? PS: Not sure if this is in the right section, because it is a stranger than they normally had catergorize!
It will print, but impressions would not be permanent. Need using a solvent based printer or print to a thermal transfer page, and then transfer the image into the plastic card.
